The Path
There are a number of ways that you or your organization can interact with the Red Thread. Here is OUR path of interaction and connection. The path is not linear.

Outdoor Skills Acquisition
This is a course NOT a workshop. It can be taught as a two day experience or can be divided into four, half day sessions. This curriculum provides the “whole enchilada”of Bushcraft skills, forest navigation skills and “thriving not just surviving” skills needed to comfortably hike and spend overnight in our local “River to Bluff” ecosystem.

Shin Rin Yoku Practice
Shin Rin Yoku originated in Japan during the 1980’s. It combines the wisdom traditions of Shintoism and Buddhism with western medicine. It was developed in response to complex chronic health problems that stared to occur in Japan at the time. The practice was introduced to North America in 2012 by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.

Somatic exercises and self resilience skills
These experiences are designed to be done in “moais” or small groups, but they are available “one on one” by prior arrangement. These skills take advantage of “Bottom up learning” to allow someone to develop sustainable self resilience practices in a relatively short time… they are meant to be enjoyable… so they most likely will become repeatable.
