Shin Rin Yoku Practice
Ikigi (purpose)
Shin Rin Yoku originated in Japan during the 1980’s. It combines the wisdom traditions of Shintoism and Buddhism with western medicine. It was developed in response to complex chronic health problems that stared to occur in Japan at the time. The practice was introduced to North America in 2012 by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.
Umbutu (connection)
Slow, sensory walks beneath the canopy quiet the mind, awaken the body, and deepen our felt connection to the living Earth and one another. In this gentle, relational medicine, individual healing and collective well-being rise together, rooted in the shared breath of the forest.
Join us to immerse, restore, and remember—we heal when we come home to the whole.
